Blogger Heydar Aliyev, known in Tashkent under the pseudonym Gonzo, was imprisoned after a scandal at the K-Vibe Korean culture festival.
The court found him guilty of petty hooliganism and disobeying the lawful demands of law enforcement officers. As a result, the blogger was sentenced to 5 days of administrative detention and a fine of 5 times the minimum wage.
The scandal arose after the blogger continued to film festival participants, despite their requests not to be filmed. On June 17, he distributed information about one of the citizens via Telegram that violated his honor and dignity.
