Bakhodir Begalov, who headed the Statistical Agency, has been dismissed!

Bakhodir Begalov has been dismissed from his post as director of the Statistical Agency under the President of Uzbekistan. There was no official announcement of the resignation, but the agency's website indicates that the position of director is vacant. Begalov, 56, has held this position since 2017. Previously, he was deputy chairman of the State Statistics Committee from 2012 to 2016. The statistics body currently has two deputies: Azam Ikromov and Zohidjon Ziyoyev.
