Azerpost returns to profit

Azerpost LLC, owned by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, completed 2022 with a net profit of 4.336 million manats. While in 2021, the company's net loss amounted to 5.439 million manat.

According to Report, last year Azerpost's income from postal services amounted to 20.355 million manats (12.9% more than a year earlier), income from financial services - 23.25 million manats (91.6% more), income from other services - 11.28 million manats (10.7% more), operating expenses amounted to 26.494 million manats (9.8% more), general and administrative expenses - 23.258 million manats (18.8% more ).

As of January 1 this year, the assets of Azerpost amounted to 624.008 million manats, which is 43.7% more than a year ago. During the reporting period, the company's liabilities increased by 48% - up to 574.011 million manats, while the balance sheet capital increased by 7.2% - up to 49.997 million manats.
