Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry issued a statement on the latest situation in the region

For almost 30 years, the Republic of Azerbaijan has faced the military aggression of Armenia, the occupation of its territories, the massacres of Azerbaijanis, including the elderly, women, children, about a million Azerbaijanis have become refugees and internally displaced persons.

According to Report, this is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan on the latest situation in the region.

The statement notes that despite the recognition of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan by four resolutions of the UN Security Council adopted in 1993, and the demand to immediately leave the Azerbaijani territories, Armenia ignored all these calls, deliberately destroyed the historical and cultural heritage of the Azerbaijani people in the occupied territories, carried out illegal settlement policy.
