Azerbaijan to produce first dredging vessel

An agreement on trilateral cooperation was signed in Baku today between the resident of the Garadagh Industrial Park - Baku Shipbuilding Plant LLC, Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC and the Dutch company Damen Shipyards Gorinchem B.V.

Report informs, the agreement was signed by Elshad Nuriyev, Chairman of the Board of Baku Shipbuilding Plant, Taleh Ziyadov, Director General of Baku International Sea Trade Port, and Damen Shipyards Gorinchem B.V. Director General. Vadim Akimov.

According to the document, the Baku Shipyard, together with a Dutch company, will produce a dredging vessel, which will be important for removing obstacles that arise in ports as a result of the drop in the level of the Caspian Sea.
