Azerbaijan to establish new requirement for investment funds

In Azerbaijan, investment funds and their managers will have to send a written notification to the Central Bank about changes in the information entered in the register within 5 working days.

Report informs, this was reflected in the draft amendments to the Law on Investment Funds, which was considered in the first reading at today's parliament session.

According to the document, in case of preliminary submission to the Central Bank of the documents provided for by the Law "On the Securities Market", and the absence of changes in these documents, their re-submission is not required, provided that the Central Bank is notified of this in writing.

The draft amendments were put to the vote and adopted in the first reading.
