Azerbaijan joined the initiative of the President of the UN General Assembly

Azerbaijan has joined the initiative of the UN General Assembly on gender equality.

The press secretary of the head of the General Assembly, Paulina Kubiak, told the American bureau of Report.

She said that the campaign is a joint initiative of the President of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, Csaba Körösi, and the Executive Director of UN Women, Seema Bacchus.

P. Kubiak added that the social project is aimed at promoting UN online trainings on gender equality.

Along with Azerbaijan, 34 member countries of the world organization joined the campaign.

Note that the first stage of the initiative will last until June 30.
