This year Azerbaijan imported 21,396 tons of meat.
Report informs referring to the data of the State Customs Committee, the cost of importing this volume of meat amounted to 40 million 449 thousand US dollars.
In physical terms, this is 1220 tons (6%) more than in the corresponding period of 2022, and in value terms - by $6 million 522 thousand (19.2%).
Recall that meat imports amounted to 0.49% of Azerbaijan's total imports.
