Azerbaijan demands from France to put an end to provocations

Sending vehicles under the guise of "humanitarian cargo" in the direction of the Lachin border checkpoint, accompanied by the leaders of several French cities, including the Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo, and the provocative statements of these persons are not only direct interference in the internal affairs of Azerbaijan, but also an encroachment on sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country, protected by international law.

Report was told in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

This issue was brought to the attention of the French Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Anne Boillon, who was summoned to the Foreign Ministry on August 31.

It was noted that such provocative actions, which are a tool of a campaign of lies and manipulation by Armenia, are another example of steps aimed at escalating the situation in the region and encouraging Armenia to maintain a revanchist position, which has intensified in recent days.

The French side was required to put an end to the moves directed against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and jeopardizing the fragile normalization process promoted by the active efforts of international actors in the region.
