It is known that the progress and future of each state is directly related to the level of its education. Investments in this area mean investments in the future. The Azerbaijani state is currently one of the leading countries in the world in this regard. Over the past 20 years, 3,600 new schools have been built and overhauled in the country. By the end of 2023, by order of the Ministry of Science and Education, it is planned to open eight educational institutions. Over the past three years alone, 275 new schools have been built in the country, and the number of unsafe schools has decreased by 30% - to 654.

The number of vocational classes will reach 230, and in total, more than 3,500 schoolchildren will study in vocational classes in 194 schools. It should be noted that the purpose of creating classes with a professional focus for grades 10-11 is to create conditions for students to acquire basic knowledge and skills in various specialties. STEAM-based learning will also be expanded.
In the new academic year, 418 people will study abroad within the framework of the State Program for the Education of Youth in Prestigious Higher Educational Institutions of Foreign Countries in 2022-2026 and the “State Program for Improving the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023.” Of these, 67 people will study in the bachelor’s program, 314 people in the master’s program, and 37 people in doctoral studies. Thus, thanks to the reforms carried out to develop preschool, general and higher education, the conditions for both teaching and learning are improved, which, in turn, creates the basis for adapting education to modern requirements.
