Azerbaijan and Moldova discussed new areas of economic cooperation

Discussed were new areas of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Moldova, the development of bilateral economic ties, and the possibility of increasing mutual trade turnover.

Report was told by the Ministry of Economy.

First Deputy Minister Elnur Aliyev met with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization of Moldova Dumitru Alaiba as part of the 32nd annual meeting of the Board of Directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Samarkand.

It was emphasized that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to relations with Moldova, the potential for strengthening economic partnership was brought to attention. It was noted that there are broad prospects between our countries for the development of cooperation in investment, trade, energy and other areas.
