Joint Tactical Training “Khazri-2023” is being held in Baku with the participation of ships and servicemen of the Azerbaijani and Kazakh navies.

The exercises are carried out in accordance with the Joint Action Plan signed by the Ministry of Defense of the two states.

On 2 October, the warships and personnel of the Kazakh Navy reached Baku to participate in joint tactical exercises.

The commander of the Azerbaijani Navy, Vice admiral Subkhan Bakirov, met with a delegation led by Rear admiral Saken Bekjanov, commander of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Bakirov noted that joint tactical training in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea contributes significantly to the exchange of experience between the military personnel of the two states, further increasing their professional skills and level of training.

In the Joint Azerbaijani-Kazakh tactical exercises, which will last until October 8, various episodic actions will be carried out.
