Average monthly salary increases in Uzbekistan

According to the National Statistics Committee, the average nominal monthly salary in Uzbekistan reached 7.0911 million Uzbek soums during January–June 2026. This is 18.4% higher than during the same period last year.

Among the regions, the highest average salary was recorded in Tashkent City, at 12.0139 million Uzbek soums. The lowest average salary was recorded in the Kashkadarya Region, at 4.8647 million Uzbek soums.

By sector, the highest average salaries were reported in banking, insurance, and financial services, reaching 19.1002 million Uzbek soums. The average monthly salary in the education sector was 4.9771 million Uzbek soums, while in healthcare and social services it stood at 4.4403 million Uzbek soums.
