Autumn holidays for schoolchildren begin on November 4

Students return from November 10 to study for the second quarter.

Students in general educational institutions in Uzbekistan take a leave of absence from November 4.

According to the approval of the Ministry of preschool and school education, the first quarter of the current school year will be completed from November 3. Pupils are on leave for 6 calendar days from 4 November and begin the second quarter on 10 November.

For reference, according to the relevant government decision made in 2017, the duration of the school year holidays are defined as follows:

autumn holidays-6 calendar days from November 4;
winter holidays-14 calendar days from December 28;
spring break-7 calendar days from March 21;
summer vacation-from the day of the last stage control test (the day after the end of the school year for classes without stage control) to September 1.
In the event that the last day of vacation coincides with the holiday (non-working) day, classes are continued from the next working day. For Grade I students, an additional week of leave is set for the month of February.
