The leader of the medal standings is China - it already has 133 medals (76 gold, 30 silver, 27 bronze). Japan is in second place with 71 medals (18 gold, 23 silver, 30 bronze). The top three teams of the tournament are closed by the South Korean national team, which has currently won 50 medals (17 gold, 15 silver, 18 bronze). Recall that at the 2023 Universiade in Lake Placid, Kazakhstan won three gold, four silver and four bronze medals, taking 11th place in terms of the number of victories.
