At the UN General Assembly, six more countries recognized Palestine

At a special high-level UN conference in New York, six additional countries — France, Andorra, Belgium, Luxembourg, Malta, and Monaco — officially recognized the State of Palestine.

Back in April, 147 out of 193 UN member states had recognized Palestine, but now this number has risen to 156.
