Yesterday, the Europa League final between Aston Villa and SC Freiburg took place at Beşiktaş Stadium in Istanbul. The English club secured a dominant 3–0 victory and won the trophy for the first time in its history, while it became the fifth Europa League title for Emery.
Having previously achieved this feat with Sevilla FC (three times) and Villarreal CF, Emery became the first coach to win the Europa League five times.
