Assets worth 200 billion soums of the head of LLC, who cheated thousands of people under the pretext of "novostroyka", were seized in Tashkent

At the same time, it was reported that Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov is holding a meeting with the participants of the conflict situation that arose in connection with the sale of apartments to citizens in multi-storey buildings being built by Asia Invest Favorit LLC in Tashkent. According to the reporter of "Daryo" referring to the Tashkent city prosecutor, house arrest was applied to the head of this LLC.

According to Tashkent city prosecutor Erkin Yoldoshev, this case started with fraud. Khairulla Hatamov, who owned 34% of Asia Invest Favorit LLC, was convicted 14 times. This was considered in economic courts.

"He was placed under house arrest. His property worth 200 billion soums belonging to him and his family members was confiscated," said the prosecutor.

It was noted that he wanted to carry out illegal construction works on the land belonging to "Uzsuvtaminot". There was no decision of the mayor of Tashkent to build a house.

"1,106 citizens were cheated into signing contracts to buy houses. In some cases, 1 room was sold to 2 persons. Also, the apartments were mortgaged to the bank. In the course of the investigation, more than 2,000 citizens were interviewed. Investigations are ongoing," the Tashkent prosecutor notes.
