Asian Kettlebell Lifting and Bodybuilding Championships to be held in Kyrgyzstan

The Asian kettlebell Lifting and Bodybuilding Championships will be held in Kyrgyzstan. This was announced at a press conference by Tilekmat Abdyrakhmanov, head of the Department of Sports of Higher Achievements of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports.

The Asian Championship among juniors and adults in kettlebell lifting from May 4 to 8 will be held in Bishkek at the Gazprom — Children sports complex. 300 participants from six countries are expected to arrive.

According to Tilekmat Abdrakhmanov, 1 million 480 thousand soms have been laid down in the calendar plan of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports for this event.

The Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Challenge Championship will be held at the Gazprom Sports and Recreation complex in Baktuu-Dolonotu village of Issyk-Kul region on May 12-13.

"About 800 athletes from more than 20 countries will take part in the competition. 955 thousand soms are provided for the event," Tilekmat Abdrakhmanov said.
