As the situation worsened, the US sent military aid to Israel

As the situation in Israel worsened, the United States is sending the USS Gerald Ford to the eastern Mediterranean, the Pentagon said. Moves to areas close to the Israeli border. It includes the aircraft carrier "Gerald Ford" of the US Navy, the missile cruiser "Normandy", as well as guided destroyers. "We have also taken steps to strengthen the F-35, F-15, F-16 and A-10 fighter squadrons of the Air Force in the region," said US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. According to the minister, additional military equipment and ammunition will be delivered to Israel. In particular, missiles will be supplied to the "Iron Dome" air defense system. In order to demonstrate power and support Israel, the US will increase the number of strike aircraft at its air bases in the region. Let's recall that earlier it was said that Israel asked the US for Iron Dome missiles, small-caliber bombs, machine gun bullets, as well as intelligence assistance on Lebanon and Hezbollah.
