ASTANA, August 21 - Sputnik. The President of Kazakhstan met with Chairman of the Board of Sovico Group Nguyen Thanh Hung, Akorda reported.

Among the documents signed in the presence of the heads of state, three documents will regulate the relations of Kazakhstani state bodies and national companies with subdivisions of Sovico Group.

During the conversation, the press service of the head of state noted, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation in the fields of energy and logistics.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the company's vast experience in various sectors of the economy and stressed that Kazakhstan is interested in implementing large joint investment projects.

Nguyen Thanh Hung announced the company's intention to create a trade and logistics center in Kazakhstan.
According to him, VietJet Air, which is part of the Sovico group of companies, plans to increase the number of flights to Kazakhstan.

Sovico Group is one of the largest diversified conglomerates in Vietnam, specializing in the energy, construction, banking and financial sectors, as well as the aviation industry. In 2022, the company's revenue was $20.6 billion.
