Manchester City’s case over alleged financial rule breaches in the Premier League is back in the spotlight. The club has been found guilty of almost all of the 115 charges, according to reports, while sanctions have not yet been decided. Possible penalties include a fine, points deduction, or even expulsion from the Premier League. The club is expected to appeal.

If points are deducted or titles are stripped, some of City’s honors from the period covered by the case could potentially be reviewed. Between 2009 and 2018, City won three Premier League titles, one FA Cup and three League Cups. However, there is currently no final decision to strip the club of any trophies.

The club is preparing to appeal, and the final outcome of the case has not yet been determined.
