Are funds being unfairly withdrawn from ATTO cards?

In recent days, residents of Tashkent have complained about unexplained withdrawals from their ATTO transport cards. Some users even reported that “the entire balance on their card was deducted.”

The ATTO company issued an official statement regarding the situation. According to the company, the issue affected only users who made payments at the “Buyuk Ipak Yo‘li” station between September 16 and 30. During that period, a technical malfunction in the terminal system caused some payments not to be deducted at the time of travel.

Currently, the system is processing those delayed transactions and deducting the corresponding fares from users’ balances.

ATTO emphasized that no extra or incorrect charges are being made — all deductions correspond only to actual trips made during the specified period.
