Applicants who failed to get into university are given the opportunity to choose a sixth field of study

In Uzbekistan, applicants who scored 56.7 points or higher on the entrance exam but were not admitted to any of their five chosen fields of study have been given an additional opportunity to select a sixth field.

Applicants can choose one of the available sixth fields where the subject combination and language of instruction match their qualifications and vacant places are available.

For the 2026/2027 academic year, there are 31,808 vacant places at 80 higher education institutions. Applicants can register for the additional selection process via the my.uzbmb.uz platform from August 22 to 28.

Applicants will be recommended for admission based on their scores, in descending order, on a basic tuition-fee contract basis.
