Apple to build iPhones in the US
Apple is set to release its first iPhone with a US-made processor in 2025. The world's leading chipmaker TSMC has spent twice as long building its Arizona plant as it did its Taiwanese plant.
Testing of the iPhone processors has already been completed. If engineers are satisfied with the new batch of chips, the company will be ready to release the first iPhones assembled in the US. Apple mainly assembles smartphones and other gadgets in China.
