Apple has again become the most valuable company in the world

Shares of the tech giant hit a record high on Wednesday, trading at around $218 per share by midday. Apple has a market capitalization of approximately $3.34 trillion, making it the most valuable company in the world, ahead of Microsoft, whose market capitalization is approximately $3.26 trillion.

The sharp increase in the share price occurred after the company's World Wide Developers Conference - WWDC.
