Anti-terrorist operations were conducted in 18 regions of Turkey

Anadolu agency reports that Turkish law enforcement officers have arrested about 90 people suspected of having ties to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (KIP), which is considered a terrorist in the country.

Anti-terror operations were conducted in 18 regions of Turkey, including Istanbul and Antalya.

According to the agency, the suspects were identified thanks to the intelligence activities of the intelligence services in Iraq, Syria and Turkey.

On October 1, a terrorist attack was carried out near the main security department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkey in Ankara. Two terrorists in a small van stopped in front of the gate near the building. One of them was killed by detonating an explosive device. The second is neutralized.

KIP members claimed responsibility for the attack. In response, the Turkish army launched airstrikes on KIP targets in northern Iraq. It was noted that 20 objects were destroyed.
