Panaev Farms livestock enterprise in Nukus produces immune milk products against coronavirus. Anti-virus milk project started in 2021. For the first time, Uzbek scientists discovered that by vaccinating livestock against the coronavirus during the estrus period, their colostrum contains the maximum amount of antibodies against the virus.
"Panaev Farms" livestock enterprise in the city of Nukus launched the production of anti-coronavirus immune dairy products for the first time, and sales of anti-coronavirus immune dairy products began. The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation informed Kun.uz about this.
In 2021, the International Molecular Allergology Center under the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan (now the Agency for Innovative Development) in cooperation with the Medical University of Vienna in Austria started a project to obtain immune milk against the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
In 2022, scientists of the International Molecular Allergology Center in the field of Biotechnology and Comparative Medicine took test samples from the immune milk of cows vaccinated with the ZF-UZ-VAC2001 Uzbekistan-China vaccine. Here, breeding cows and Holstein cows imported from Austria and Germany were fully vaccinated with 3 doses of the safe and effective ZF-UZ-VAC2001 vaccine during the estrus period. Scientists have determined that the colostrum of vaccinated cows contains the maximum amount of antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
It was reported that the long-term pasteurization process, in compliance with the state standards of the Republic of Uzbekistan, preserved all the properties of milk, including the neutralizing activity of antibodies.
