On Wednesday, October 11, around 5:12 in the morning, another 6.3-magnitude earthquake occurred in Herat. The epicenter of the earthquake is located 28 kilometers east of the city of Herat. In the Sinjab and Band Bagharcher regions of Herat's Rabat Sangi district, three strong earthquakes occurred in a row in half an hour: the first one had a magnitude of 6.3, the second one had a magnitude of 5.4, and the last one had a magnitude of 4.1.
As a result of the earthquake, electricity was cut off in all areas of the city of Herat and 55 people were injured.
