Angry elephant kills driver in India
An elephant brought for a festival in the Indian state of Kerala broke its chain, killed its driver and injured another person. It also attacked a car and a scooter on the road. The elephant stayed near the deceased for a long time, trying to attack those who approached and preventing medical assistance. It took two hours to calm it down and was eventually sedated and tied up.
