Andijan moto blogger jailed for taking part in a street race

In the Kashkadarya region, a female moto blogger and a Gentra driver were punished for organizing a late-night street race.
It was revealed that on the night of October 13, a girl from Andijan region, who did not have a driver’s license, arranged a race in Karshi with a Gentra driver to gain attention on social media. They violated traffic rules, exceeded the speed limit, and endangered pedestrians and other vehicles.

According to the court’s decision, the moto blogger was sentenced to 3 days of administrative detention and fined 10.3 million soums.
The Gentra driver was deprived of his driver’s license for one year, sentenced to 5 days of detention, and fined 10.3 million soums.
