A citizen of Uzbekistan carried an unconscious 69-year-old woman out of a burning restaurant in Yangsan, South Korea. In Yangsan, Korea, a 40-year-old Uzbek man saved an elderly woman from a fire, writes The Korea Herald.

According to the fire service, the fire broke out at around 18:44 on Monday in a restaurant run by an elderly couple. The fire was reported by witnesses who heard the sound of explosions and breaking windows.

The woman's husband was outside and couldn't get in because of the fire. The woman who remained inside suffered burns and lost consciousness.

An Uzbek man living near the restaurant ran into the building and pulled the woman out of the fire.

The fire damaged the entire restaurant and nearby cars. It was turned off at 7:11 p.m. The damage is estimated at 60.4 thousand US dollars.

The victim was found to have second-degree burns all over her body, and her husband is also being treated for injuries.

The citizen of Uzbekistan, who saved the woman, was slightly injured by broken glass, he was given first aid at the scene and sent home.
