On April 23, an Uzbek citizen living in Istanbul died of heart failure. According to preliminary information, this incident occurred as a result of the citizen's intense fear while standing on the upper floor during the earthquake in Istanbul.
The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul is taking the necessary consular, legal and organizational measures to repatriate the body of the deceased.
