An unforgettable graduation ceremony under the rain
A high school graduation ceremony in the state of Tennessee turned into an even more unforgettable event due to heavy rain.
School officials said the ceremony could have been moved indoors. However, because of the school’s “Rain or Shine” policy — meaning the event continues regardless of the weather — the graduation was not canceled.
As a result, parents watched the ceremony under umbrellas, while students received their diplomas in the pouring rain.
Although the graduates’ special outfits and hairstyles prepared for the evening were ruined by the rain, the unexpected weather made the ceremony even more memorable.
