An official reception was held in Paris in honor of the Independence Day of Azerbaijan

In honor of the state holiday of Azerbaijan - May 28, Independence Day - the Azerbaijani Embassy in France and the Permanent Mission to UNESCO organized an official reception in Paris.

According to the French Bureau of Report, the event was attended by high-ranking state and government officials, members of parliament, representatives of public and political circles and the diplomatic corps, company executives and compatriots living in France.

First, the national anthems of Azerbaijan and France were played. Then the Ambassador of our country Leyla Abdullayeva informed the guests in detail about the formation of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.

Speaking at the event, Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to UNESCO Elman Abdullayev noted that the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, which had existed for only 23 months, had a significant impact on the formation of democratic traditions in the Muslim East.
