Ancient and ever-popular Samarkand is preparing to host the next major sports event, the international triathlon competition. Athletes from 35 countries of the world are expected to participate in the international triathlon competition to be held on September 17. Athletes will test their skills in swimming, cycling and running. The international triathlon competition will be held in the rowing canal of Samarkand and its adjacent area.
