An Insolvency Agency will be established

Presidential Decree No. PF-78 dated May 6, 2026 “On measures to further improve the institution of insolvency” was adopted. According to the decree, the Agency for Insolvency Affairs and its territorial branches will be established under the Ministry of Justice.

The main tasks of the Agency in the field of insolvency are defined as follows:

🔹 Implementation of state policy in the field of insolvency and control and regulation of this area;

🔹 Coordination of the activities of state bodies and organizations in the field of insolvency;

🔹 Full digitalization of insolvency processes, simplification of excessive bureaucratic procedures.

At the same time, the Chamber of Court Administrators of Uzbekistan will be established on the basis of the Association of Court Administrators of Uzbekistan, based on the membership of all court administrators.
