An earthquake was observed in the Jizzakh region on August 26 at 06:55, reports the FVV Seismoprongostic Monitoring Republican Center.
It was reported that the epicenter of the earthquake: Jizzakh region, Yangiabad district. Earthquake coordinates: 40.09 degrees north latitude; 68.9 degrees east longitude.
The magnitude of the earthquake was 3.6 points. The depth is 10 kilometers. The epicenter of the earthquake is 133 kilometers south-west of Tashkent.
The earthquake that occurred in Afghanistan on August 5 and 6 was also felt in nine regions of Uzbekistan. On July 18, a 3.9-magnitude earthquake was recorded.
