A 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck the Silivri district of Istanbul, Turkey. The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 6.99 kilometers. 36 minutes earlier, a 3.9-magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Sea of ​​Marmara. The tremors lasted 10 seconds. There was no information about the number of people affected or the number of victims.
The authorities warned all residents of Turkey and urged them to be as careful as possible.
The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul also warned all citizens living in Turkey.
