An agreement with Uzbekistan on the assembly of cars in Kyrgyzstan has been ratified

The President of Kyrgyzstan signed the Law "On ratification of the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and the Government of Uzbekistan on cooperation in organizing the production of automotive and commercial vehicles in the Kyrgyz Republic". This was reported by the press service of the head of state.

The law was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh on March 15, 2023. Ratification of the document will make it possible to implement an investment project for the organization of assembly production of passenger cars and commercial vehicles in Kyrgyzstan.

It is expected that the implementation of the project will give impetus to the development of the automotive industry of the republic, increase the share of industry in GDP, and update the car fleet. In addition, 2,<> new jobs will be created, as well as the production of components for vehicles. As a result, this will have a positive impact on the dynamics of the country's economy.
