Amonatbank became the owner of the Cup of the Football Federation of Tajikistan-2023

The traditional futsal tournament for the Cup of the Football Federation of Tajikistan has ended in Dushanbe, FFT reports.

Twelve teams took part in the competition, which were divided into three groups at the preliminary stage. At the first stage, the teams played in a round robin system in one round. Eight teams then advanced to the quarterfinals. At the playoff stage, the games were played according to the Olympic system with a knockout.

In the match for the third place, the teams "Rakhsh-Taxi" and "Babylon" met. The stubborn meeting ended with the victory of "Rakhsh-Taxi" - 5:3.

No less interesting was the decisive, final duel, in which the futsal players of Orienbank and Amonatbank met. The main time of the meeting did not reveal the winner - 3:3. In the penalty shoot-out, success accompanied Amonatbank - 3:2.

The closing ceremony of the tournament was attended by Vice-President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Dilshod Jurazoda, Secretary General of the FTF Furkat Akhmedzhanov and Director of the Futsal League of Tajikistan Bakhtovar Melikov.

According to the results of the FFT Cup-2023, Umed Muminzoda (Amonatbank) was recognized as the best goalkeeper. Ibodullo Nazirov (Orienbank) became the best scorer of the tournament. Sultonsho Mirzoev (Amonatbank) was named the best player in the final meeting.
