Almost 200 billion soms of taxes and payments have been collected since the beginning of the year

According to the results of ten months of 2023, 199 billion 938.5 million soms of taxes and insurance premiums were collected in Kyrgyzstan. This was announced today by the chairman of the State Tax Service Altynbek Abduvapov.

According to him, compared to last year, the figures increased by 34.1 billion soms. The established plan was exceeded by 2.9 billion soms. Including 147 billion 999.1 million soms of taxes and payments and 51 billion 939.4 million soms of insurance premiums were collected.

"The improvement and strengthening of tax administration, as well as the transition of entrepreneurs to online services, played a key role in achieving over-fulfillment of planned indicators. The introduction and use of cash registers, electronic shipping invoices, electronic invoices and other digitalization projects have significantly improved the efficiency of the tax collection process, " Altynbek Abduvapov said.
