Aliya Yunusova announced her resignation as children's Ombudsman

Aliya Yunusova, who has been working as the children's Ombudsman of Uzbekistan since 2020, announced that she is ceasing her activities.

” Based on the current situation, I inform that I am suspending my activities as a representative for children's rights, " Yunusova wrote on her page on the social network.

He also thanked President Shavkat Mirziyoyev for paying special attention to the issues of ensuring the rights and interests of the child, the harmonious upbringing of the growing younger generation, the protection of motherhood and childhood.

"I would like to thank everyone who has collaborated, supported, contributed, believed and worked with us in the formation of a strong system of ensuring and protecting children's rights that meets international standards.
