Alisher Qodirov proposes retirement at 50 for teachers

Chairman of the “Milliy Tiklanish” party, Alisher Qodirov, suggested that teachers, like pilots and special service employees, should be granted early retirement due to the nature of their work conditions.

According to him, a teacher managing a class of 50 children for three years experiences the equivalent of 30 years’ worth of mental and physical strain. Therefore, he proposed that teachers should be eligible for retirement starting from the age of 50.
