Alisher Kadyrov says he is proud of the players at a meeting with them
The chairman of the Milliy Tiklanish democratic party, Alisher Kadyrov, who previously criticized the results of the Uzbek national team at the World Cup, now said he is proud of the players.
Speaking at a welcoming ceremony for the national team on July 1, he noted that the players' historic achievement of taking Uzbekistan to the World Cup for the first time was a historic achievement.
Kadyrov said that it is important not to criticize the defeat, but to draw conclusions from it. He expressed confidence that the Uzbek national team will achieve even higher results at the World Cup in the future.
