Al-Tuwaijri: Nizami Ganjavi's legacy belongs to all mankind

It is necessary to carefully preserve, disseminate and promote the legacy of the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi.

Report informs, Abdulaziz al-Tuveijri, former Director General of the Organization of Islamic Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO), member of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, said this during today's panel dedicated to the legacy of the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker, which is taking place in Ganja.

"I am in Ganja for the first time, it is a great honor for me, because the first thing that comes to my mind when I hear the word "Azerbaijan" is Nizami Ganjavi," he said.

In his opinion, the legacy of Nizami Ganjavi belongs to all mankind.

"Our center [Nizami Ganjavi International Center], under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, is excellent at promoting the ideas of the poet, and I am proud to be a part of this organization," he added.
