Al Mirqab Capital holding company wants to invest in the energy industry in Uzbekistan

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the executive director of Al Mirqab Capital holding company Saif ur-Rahman Khan. This was reported by the press service of the president.

Al Mirqab Capital Holding was founded in 1983 and owns 20 major hotels in the USA, Europe and the Middle East under the brands Four Seasons, The Ritz Carlton and others. The company's assets are worth more than 8 billion dollars.

The following cooperation prospects were discussed at the meeting:

development of hotel infrastructure and tourism services;
modernization of logistics and energy networks.
In particular, the company considered plans to build a logistics center in the Tashkent region, a hotel-congress complex in the city of Bukhara, and to invest in the expansion of electricity production capacities in Uzbekistan. Investment projects are implemented on the basis of a joint "road map".

Shavkat Mirziyoyev is in Doha

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev paid a state visit to Doha on October 1 at the invitation of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar. According to the program of the state visit, high-level meetings will be held on October 2.

The leaders will discuss issues of further strengthening Uzbekistan-Qatar relations and development of multilateral cooperation, first of all, in the political, trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
