Akhmadzoda personally began picking cotton in Sogd

Chairman of the Sughd region Rajabboy Ahmadzoda took part in the cotton harvest in the Spitamen region.

This was reported by the press service of the head of the region.

It is noted that Akhmadzoda presented gifts to cotton pickers, praised them for their fruitful work, and also gave recommendations to farmers.

So, this year cotton growers produced 14.6 thousand tons of crop, the press service added.

It is emphasized that to encourage the work of cotton growers, a competition has been created in which each district that becomes a leader in the first 20 days of the harvest will be awarded prizes.

Obtaining a good harvest and providing markets for agricultural products in Tajikistan depends on the hard work and professionalism of farmers, as well as the supply of fresh water to cultivated lands, the chairman of Sogd added.
