Airports of local airlines of Tajikistan handed over to the Ministry of Defense

According to the decree signed by the Government of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Defense will receive a total of 18 airports for local airlines

In Tajikistan, airports for local airlines were transferred from the ownership of cities and regions to the balance of the Ministry of Defense of the republic.

The government of Tajikistan adopted the corresponding decree on the transfer. The document is presented on the legal information portal of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic.

According to the resolution, in total, the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan will receive 21 airports for local airlines.

We are talking about 6 air harbors in the Khatlon region, 4 in the Regions of Republican Subordination, 6 in the Sughd and 5 in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region.

The document states that the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan will have to restore and ensure the constant readiness of the resulting airports.

Note that currently flights are operated only from four international airports of the republic - Dushanbe, Khujand, Bokhtar and Kulob.
