🛫Air India plane crashes in India
On June 12, an Air India passenger plane crashed at the airport in Ahmedabad, India.
The plane was heading to Birmingham, UK, and the incident reportedly occurred as it was taking off. Footage from the scene showed black smoke billowing into the sky and parts of the plane engulfed in flames.
There were no immediate reports of casualties. It is believed that there were more than 100 passengers on board. Footage circulating in local media showed the injured being carried out on stretchers and placed in ambulances.
